Abstract:
A carrying device, a recording device, and a carrying method. The recording device comprises a supply part (16) supplying recording paper (3) from a supply roll (11), a platen (18) installed oppositely to a recording head (7) recording on the supplied recording paper and supporting the recording paper, and a windup part (20) winding up the recorded recording paper onto a windup roll (12). A recording quality can be increased by suppressing the occurrence of wrinkles on a recorded material by either of the following structures. 1. A plurality of recessed parts (48) surrounded by projected walls (49) are formed on the platen at positions corresponding to recording areas in the lateral direction of the recording paper, and a plurality of suction holes (51) for sucking the recording paper by a suction fan (52) are formed in the bottom faces of the recessed parts. 2. A large diameter part (28) supporting the roll is formed on the roll shaft (26) of the supply part at the lateral center position. 3. Tension rollers (22, 23) imparting tension to the recorded material are installed in a carrying route. 4. A separating roller (21) separating the inner peripheral surface of the recorded material from the outer peripheral surface of the supply roll is installed.
