Abstract:
This cascade unit (2) is a cascade unit of a refrigeration system (1) having a first circuit (5a), a second circuit (10), and a cascade heat exchanger (35). The first circuit (5) has a first connecting part (C1). Among first piping (P1) and second piping (P2) connecting a first heat exchanger (74) and the cascade heat exchanger (35), the first connecting part (C1) connects the first piping (P1) and the second piping (P2), extending from the cascade heat exchanger (35), to the first piping (P1) and the second piping (P2) extending from the first heat exchanger (74) on the inside or outside of a cascade casing (2x). The second circuit (10) has a second connecting part (C2). Among a liquid pipe (P3) and gas pipes (P4, P5) connecting second heat exchangers (52a, 52b, 52c) and the cascade heat exchanger (35), the second connecting part (C2) connects the liquid pipe (P3) and the gas pipes (P4, P5), extending from the cascade heat exchanger (35), to the liquid pipe (P3) and the gas pipes (P4, P5) extending from the second heat exchangers (52a, 52b, 52c) on the inside or outside of the cascade casing (2x). The first connecting part (C1) and the second connecting part (C2) are disposed in the vicinity of each other.
