Description:
CASE Technical Field The present invention relates to a case, and more particularly, to an openable case in which powder, gel or solid contents are safely contained.

Background Art Such a case may be a cosmetic case, for example. A conventional cosmetic case is configured as shown in Fig. 1. That is, a conventional cosmetic case comprises a main body 1 and a cover 2 which is hinged to the main body 1 to cause the main body 1 to be opened or closed. Further, a mirror is mounted to an inner surface of the cover 2, and an integral receiving frame 3 in which a plurality of spaces capable of containing various kinds of cosmetic powder or gel contents or other contents such as a solid brush are partitioned is fitted into a partitioned space formed in the inner surface of the main body 1.

However, since the receiving frame 3 of the conventional cosmetic case is integrally formed as part of the case, the cosmetic powder or gel contents contained in the frame 3 should be replenished when any one of the cosmetic contents is fully consumed. Furthermore, since the consumer cosmetic contents are in the form of powders or gels, they cannot be replenished in the partitioned spaces formed in the receiving frame 3 of the cosmetic case. Therefore, there are now problems in that once any one of the cosmetic powder or gel contents contained in the receiving frame 3 is fully consumed, the receiving frame 3 should be inevitably cast away and a new receiving frame with the cosmetic powder or gel contents previously set therein should be then substituted such that the new frame can be fitted into the partitioned space of the main body 1 of the cosmetic case.

Disclosure of Invention Accordingly, the present invention is conceived to solve the aforementioned problems. An object of the present invention is to provide a case wherein a separate receiving frame prepared for each of contents can be detachably mounted to a receiving

space of a main body of a case such that the receiving frame integrally formed as part of the case need not be replaced in whole even though any one of powder or gel contents is fully consumed.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a case including a main body and a cover for opening and closing the main body. The case of the present invention comprises an engaging means for allowing a plurality of separate receiving frames to be separately and detachably mounted into a partitioned receiving space formed in an inner surface of the main body, wherein each of the receiving frames includes a containing space in which powder or gel contents can be contained.

Brief Description of Drawings Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a related art cosmetic case.

Fig. 2 is a perspective view of a case according to the present invention.

Fig. 3 shows a plan view (top) and front view (bottom) of a main body of the case shown in Fig. 2.

Fig. 4 shows a plan view (top), front view (middle) and bottom view (bottom) of a receiving frame of the case shown in Fig. 2.

Fig. 5 shows a plan view (top) and front view (bottom) illustrating a state where the main body and receiving frame of the case shown in Fig. 2 are engaged with each other.

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention Hereinafter, a detailed constitution of a case according to an embodiment of the present invention will be more specifically explained with reference to Figs. 2 to 5.

Fig. 2 shows a case 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention.

The case 100 comprises a main body 1 and a cover 2 for opening and closing the main body 1.

Further, as shown in Fig. 3, a plurality of through holes lb are formed at regular intervals in two perpendicular directions on a floor surface of a partitioned receiving space 1 a formed within an inner surface of the main body 1.

In addition, as shown in Figs. 2 to 5, the case 100 of the preferred embodiment includes a plurality of receiving frames 30 with a plurality of protrusions 31, which are

sized and shaped such that they can be fitted into some of the plurality of through holes lb, formed on a bottom surface thereof. An overall planar shape of the receiving frame 30 may be a variety of shapes such as a circle, rectangle, square, ellipse or triangle.

The receiving frame is sized and shaped in such a manner that one or more receiving frames can be accommodated in the receiving space la of the main body 1 according to the size of the receiving space la.

As shown in Fig. 4, similarly to the related art receiving frame, the receiving frame 30 is formed with an upward open containing space 32. The receiving frame 30 is also configured in such a manner that its outer periphery is bent downward and a downward open bore 33 is formed at the center of each of the protrusions 31 of the receiving frame 30.

The reason why the outer periphery of the receiving frame 30 is bent downward is that elasticity is imparted to the outer periphery of the receiving frame 30 such that adjacent lateral sides of two receiving frames 30 are easily fitted into the receiving space la due to their elasticity without interfering with the neighboring receiving frame 30 when the two receiving frames 30 are fitted into the receiving space 1 a of the main body 1 and the two adjacent lateral sides thereof are then adjacent to each other. Further, the reason why a bore 33 is formed at the center of the protrusion 31 of the receiving frame 30 is that elasticity is imparted to the protrusion 31 of the receiving frame 30 such that the protrusion 31 can be easily fitted into the through hole lb of the main body 1.

According to a case of the preferred embodiment so configured, a plurality of separate receiving frames can be detachably mounted into the receiving space of the main body of the case. That is, when any one of a plurality of contents contained respectively in the plurality of receiving frames is fully consumed, a user can remove the empty receiving frame from the main body by pushing the relevant receiving frame through the through hole formed on the main body using a tool such as a pin such that a new receiving frame with the same contents as the empty frame contained therein can be mounted to the main body.

Other modifications and configurations of the present invention, which are easily understood by those skilled in the art, are included in a technical scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

Further, a specific configuration as described above can be modified or changed

without departing from the technical scope and spirit of the invention defined in the appended claims.

That is, the configuration in which the receiving frames and main body of the case can be detachably engaged with each other according to the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment of the present invention. Alternatively, the receiving frames and the main body may be detachably engaged with each other by causing double-sided adhesive tape or magnets to be interposed between a floor surface of the receiving space of the main body and a flat bottom surface of the receiving frame with no protrusions formed thereon or by using male and female Velcro tape which is fixed onto the bottom surface of the receiving frame and the floor surface of the receiving space of the main body, respectively.

Li addition to the description of the above embodiment of the present invention, protrusions and corresponding recesses may be formed on the floor surface of the receiving space of the main body and the bottom surface of the receiving frame, respectively, such that they can be detachably engaged with each other.

Industrial Applicability According to the case of the present invention, a plurality of receiving frames are separately formed for use in a case and simultaneously fitted detachably into a receiving space of a main body. Therefore, even though any one of a plurality of cosmetic powder or gel contents contained respectively in the plurality of receiving frames 3 (@ 30) is fully consumed, the relevant empty receiving frame can be replaced without need to exchange all of the receiving frames. Accordingly, waste of receiving frames and contents contained in the receiving frames can be prevented. Furthermore, a variety of combinations of receiving frames can be employed and set into the containing space according to user's own preference.
