Abstract:
A cassette filter (1) capable of preventing the taste of coffee from being deteriorated, eliminating the necessity of assembly thereof, pouring a proper amount of hot water by merely putting the filter on a cup and filling coffee powder thereon, being manufactured at a low cost, and being environment−friendly disposed off after use and a method of manufacturing the filter, the cassette filter (1) formed of material liquid having pulverized pulp fibers distributed therein so that a drum part (11) is formed integrally with a bottom part (12), wherein a proper amount of hot water (H) and water are poured into the filter after the extracted material (W) is received into the drum part (11) so that the extraction amount of the extracted material (W) can be extracted, characterized in that the material liquid is mainly formed of wooden pulp allowing non−wooden pulp to be properly mixed therein, the bottom part (12) is formed to a thickness thinner than the other portions, and water repellency is given to those portions other than the bottom part (12).
