Abstract:
Provided is a cassette with which unsatisfactory transporting of a medium is reduced as much as possible by changing the angle of the medium relative to a spool axis when the medium is lowered from an upper layer to a lower layer. A cassette 10 comprises a tape case 20 and ribbon case 21 that vertically overlap each other, a printing tape roll 26 around which printing tape 22 is wound, a first guide 130 having an inclined surface 54i having a first inclination angle θi1, a second guide 132 having an inclined surface 154i having a second inclination angle θi2, and a third guide 134 provided to a third case member 16 constituting the ribbon case 21. The inclined surface 54i is formed so as to set apart from the printing tape roll 26 along a direction from the tape case 20 toward the ribbon case 21, and the inclined surface 154i is formed so as to be near the printing tape roll 26. The printing tape 22 guided in order to the first guide 130, the second guide 132, and the third guide 134.
