A cast copper alloy article excellent in machinability, strength, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, which comprises, in mass %, 0.5 to 15 % of Sn, 0.001 to 0.49 % of Zr, 0.01 to 0.35 % of P, one or more elements selected from 0.01 to 15 % of Pb, 0.01 to 15 % of Bi, 0.01 to 1.2 % of Se and 0.05 to 1.2 % of Te, and the balanced amount and 73 % or more of Cu, with the proviso that f1 = [P]/[Zr] = 0.5 to 100, f2 = 3[Sn]/[Zr] = 300 to 15000 and f3 = 3[Sn]/[P] = 40 to 2500 are satisfied, wherein [a] % represents the content of the element a in mass %, and has a structure, wherein a total content of &agr phase, &gammad phase and &dgr phase is 95 area % or more, and an average crystal grain diameter in a macro structure at the time of the solidification of a molten metal is 300 μm or less.
