Abstract:
This catalyst for ammoxidation comprises catalyst particles that contain molybdenum, bismuth and iron, while having a hollow particle percentage of 23% or less. A method for producing this catalyst for ammoxidation comprises: a step for preparing a catalyst precursor slurry that contains molybdenum, bismuth and iron, while having a solid content concentration of 30% by mass or less; a step for obtaining dried particles by spray drying the catalyst precursor slurry at a dryer inlet temperature of from 120°C to 240°C; and a step for firing the dried particles at 500-750°C.
