Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel technique for imparting NOx-adsorbing performance to a catalyst layer including Pt, while inhibiting the Pt from decreasing in dispersibility, thereby improving the exhaust-gas purification performance. Provided is a catalyst composition for exhaust-gas purification which comprises Pt and Mg, wherein the content of Mg in terms of metal amount is 2.0-9.0 mass% with respect to the mass of the catalyst composition for exhaust-gas purification.
