Abstract:
The present application provides a catalyst for copolymerization of ethylene and methyl methacrylate, and an application of the catalyst. The catalyst comprises a main catalyst, and the main catalyst is obtained by compounding a compound shown by formula (I) and a compound shown by formula (II); the molar ratio of the compound shown by formula (I) to the compound shown by formula (II) is 1:49 to 49:1. The catalyst has excellent catalytic activity, and a high molecular weight ethylene and methyl methacrylate copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of not less than 1×105 g/mol can be obtained.
