Abstract:
A catalyst for decomposing perfluorocompounds, according to exemplifying embodiments of the present invention, comprises aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, phosphorus oxide and zinc oxide. A method for preparing the catalyst for decomposing perfluorocompounds, according to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, generates a solution by dissolving a zirconium oxide precursor, a phosphorus oxide precursor and a zinc oxide precursor in distilled water. An aluminum oxide precursor is mixed into the solution so that a catalyst supporting material is generated. The catalyst supporting material is dried. The catalyst supporting material is fired.
