Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catalyst for hydroformylation reactions with high activity and reusability, a manufacturing method therefor, and a use thereof. With the defects caused by the cerium oxide nanostructure thereof, the catalyst for hydroformylation reactions prevents the aggregation and structural deformation of rhodium single-atom catalysts even under high-temperature reduction conditions, thus exhibiting an excellent thermal stability effect. The catalyst possesses a higher content of Ce3+ than conventional cerium, which leads to adjusting the electron density of rhodium, thus achieving a turn over frequency (TOF) value of 15,000 or more for propylene used as a reactant, indicating a superior effect compared to traditional heterogeneous hydroformylation catalysts. Moreover, the catalyst for hydroformylation reactions can be advantageously reused as a heterogeneous catalyst.
