Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a catalyst for hydrogenation of dimethyl oxalate to ethylene glycol, and a preparation method of the catalyst. In the present invention, an auxiliary agent soluble metal and an active metal are well dispersed in a precursor solution by means of an ultrasonic method, then oil bath treatment is carried out, and the metal is deposited on a carrier. According to the method, the dispersion of metal and metal-carrier interaction are improved, the deficiency of low metal loading capacity is overcome, the catalytic performance of the catalyst is improved, and the catalyst can efficiently catalyze hydrogenation of dimethyl oxalate to ethylene glycol in mild conditions. Compared with other methods, the ultrasonic oil bath one-pot method has simple preparation steps, and achieves high metal dispersion and high metal loading capacity.
