Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catalyst for pyrolizing residue obtained by pyrolyzing waste polystyrene, and a pyrolysis method, characterized in that ultra-stable Y zeolite (USY zeolite) is used as a catalyst, or zeolite having MWW structure is included together with 2-propanol so that selectivity of cumene, among residue pyrolysis products obtained by pyrolizing residue obtained by pyrolizing waste polystyrene, is increased.
