Disclosed is a catalytic auxiliary device for a gas-phase aldehyde hydrogenation reactor, the device comprising a shell and tube reactor, in which a catalyst preloader is arranged to reduce a contact surface and increase a ventilation stroke. According to the catalytic auxiliary device for a gas-phase aldehyde hydrogenation reactor, a space inside a pipeline of the shell and tube reactor is separated into a plurality of spiral regions by means of spiral partitions, which forms a longer reaction space within the same length, such that a reaction is more sufficient; in addition, fixing frames are arranged between the spiral partitions, wherein the space between two fixing frames can restrict a certain size of catalyst particles, and smaller particles can be discharged through screening holes on the fixing frames, thus forming particles with similar meshes and leaving no excess particles in contact between two adjacent particles, so as to increase the contact area of a catalyst and thus increase the reaction efficiency.
