Abstract:
A catheter (1, 11) for an endoscope is provided with holes (2, 12) located near the front end at the distal end of the catheter. The holes have a diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the catheter. The catheter for an endoscope can perform multiple functions such as cleaning, suction, incision, cauterization, coagulation, blood stanching, and smoke evacuation.
