Abstract:
The present invention relates to a catheter talc-spraying module for a transthoracic fibrin glue application procedure, which is configured to allow a drug to be uniformly sprayed onto an affected area to adhere the pleura in the thoracic cage of the lungs to prevent recurrence, after removing pleural fluid caused by cancer under local anesthesia, and to enable the prevention of agglomeration of powder by body fluids, thus maximizing the success rate of the procedure. The catheter talc-spraying module for a transthoracic fibrin glue application procedure, according to the present invention, comprises: a catheter connection part (100) fixedly connected to an end of a catheter; a drug lumen (200) which is provided in a hollow form and through which a drug being introduced from the catheter and talc diluted to prevent leakage of the drug move; an air lumen (300) provided in a hollow form so that air moves in a position parallel to the drug lumen (200); a compression flow channel (400) which is configured to extend from and be connected to the air lumen (300) and into which the drug and the talc, which have moved through the drug lumen (200), flow and are compressed; a drug lumen outlet (220) configured to extend from and be connected to the drug lumen (200) and arranged as a curved pipe so that the drug and the talc, which are discharged from the drug lumen (200), flow into the side surface of the compression flow channel (400); and a drug discharge hole (500) which extends from and is connected to the compression flow channel (400) and through which air, which flows out from the compression flow channel (400), and the drug and the talc, which are discharged from the drug lumen outlet (220), are discharged together, to be sprayed onto the affected area, wherein the compression flow channel (400) is arranged to have a smaller diameter than the air lumen (300) to create a bottleneck section.
