Abstract:
Disclosed are a cathode for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery comprising same. The cathode for a lithium secondary battery can improve low-temperature lifespan characteristics of a lithium secondary battery by comprising: a cathode active material; and an additive comprising a compound represented by chemical formula 1 as follows: In chemical formula 1, Ar, R1, R2, and Y are as defined in the detailed description.
