Abstract:
Disclosed are a CaTiO3-based oxide thermoelectric material and a preparation method therefor. The chemical formula of the CaTiO3-based oxide thermoelectric material is C1-xLaxTiO3, where 0 < x ≤ 0.4. The CaTiO3-based thermoelectric material is comparable in performance to oxide thermoelectric materials such as n-type ZnO, CaTiO3 and SrTiO3; in addition, a Ca0.85La0.15TiO3 ceramic sheet has a power factor of up to 8.2 μWcm-1K-2 (approximately 1000 K) and up to 9.2 μWcm-1K-2 at room temperature (approximately 300 K), and a conductivity of up to 2015 Scm-1 (at 300 K). The CaTiO3-based oxide thermoelectric material currently has the highest thermoelectric performance among calcium titanate ceramics. The method for preparing the CaTiO3-based oxide thermoelectric material has a simple process and a low cost, and a CaTiO3-based ceramic sheet with a high thermoelectric performance can thus be prepared.
