Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a cationic electrodeposition coating composition having excellent rust-preventive properties.
The present invention provides a cationic electrodeposition coating composition which comprises an amine-modified epoxy resin (A), a hardener (B), a compound (C) of a Group-3 element, and a cationic or nonionic resin (D), wherein the amine-modified epoxy resin (A) has a number-average molecular weight in the range of 1,000-5,000 and the cationic or nonionic resin (D) has a number-average molecular weight of 10,000 or higher.
