Title:
CEILING FIRE-EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/155629
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a ceiling fire-extinguishing system whereby a fire-extinguishing device is prevented from being moved out of position by earthquakes and the like. Said fire-extinguishing device (54) is affixed to a crossbar (56) provided across joist members (4, 5) using crossbar-anchoring fittings (57). With the crossbar (56) inserted through a region (62) bounded by a third joist-attachment section (59), a vertical face (60), and a horizontal face (61), a clamping means (63) is used to connect the horizontal face (61) and the joist-attachment section (59) without penetrating the crossbar (56). This prevents the crossbar (56) and the fire-extinguishing device (54) provided thereon from being moved out of position by shaking from an earthquake or the like, and even if said crossbar (56) and fire-extinguishing device (54) were moved out of position, said misalignment could be easily corrected by moving the crossbar (56) in the axial direction thereof.
