An indoor unit of a ceiling-type air conditioner may comprise: an upper housing having a cylindrical shape; a heat exchanger provided in an annular shape inside the upper housing; and a blowing fan provided inside the heat exchanger to suck in air and exchange heat with the heat exchanger. In addition, the indoor unit includes: a lower housing including a discharge port having an annular shape and disposed radially outside the heat exchanger so as to discharge heat-exchanged air to the outside of the upper housing, and a suction panel through which external air is sucked by means of a blowing fan, and movable between a first position and a second position different from the first position; and a middle housing disposed between the upper housing and the lower housing and including a plurality of discharge holes disposed outside the discharge port in the radial direction of the lower housing, wherein the lower housing opens the discharge port when disposed in the first position and closes the discharge port when disposed in the second position such that the air heat-exchanged with the heat exchanger may be discharged through the plurality of discharge holes.
