Abstract:
A cell activator or a cell death inhibitor comprising Wnt5a and/or Wnt10a as the active ingredients. A cell activator, a cell death inhibitor or a cell death promoter which indirectly acts on a target cell by controlling the secretion of Wnt5a and/or Wnt10a from the cell is also included therein. In the above-described cell activator or cell death inhibitor, orange, etc. may be used as a substance promoting the secretion of Wnt5a from a cell while echinacea may be used as a substance inhibiting the same. It is furthermore intended to provide a hair growing agent, a hair nourishment and a hair growth stimulant comprising the cell activator or the cell death inhibitor as described above as an active ingredient and a hair removal agent comprising the cell death promoter as described above as the active ingredient.
