Abstract:
This cell analysis device for analyzing cells is provided with: image acquisition units (1, 20-23) that acquire observation images of cells over a predetermined imaging target region including one or a plurality of culture containers; a specific region extraction unit (25) that extracts a cell region, in which cells are present or characteristic cells are present, from among the entirety of the observation images acquired by the image acquisition unit or a predetermined analysis target region of the corresponding image; an index value calculation unit (26) that calculates an index value relevant to the size and/or shape of the region in the cell region extracted by the specific region extraction unit; and a display processing unit (28) which, for the cells in the same one or plurality of culture containers at a plurality of different time points, uses the index values respectively calculated by the image acquisition units, the specific region extraction unit, and the index value calculation unit to create a graph indicating a temporal change of the index values, and displays the graph on a display unit (4).
