Abstract:
According to the cell balancing circuit apparatus of a battery management system using a two-way DC-DC converter disclosed in the present invention, a two-way DC-DC converter connected in parallel to each battery cell is configured so that the voltage of an overcharged battery cell is controlled so as to discharge through an energy bus unit, and an undercharged battery cell is charged by the surplus voltage shared with the energy bus unit, thereby providing cell balancing such that cell balancing through a two-way DC-DC converter minimizes energy loss through the use of an active method, a structure capable of charging and discharging is provided, and a system structure can easily be configured regardless of the number of cells.
