Abstract:

This cell observation container is provided with: a first container configured to accommodate a culture solution; and a second container having at least one well which can be taken in and out of the first container while retaining either or both of cells and cell aggregations to be cultured by means of the culture solution. Each of the at least one well has: a bottom portion capable of retaining the culture solution; and a side wall extending from a peripheral portion of the bottom portion. The side wall is provided with a liquid passage portion through which the culture solution accommodated in the first container can pass.
