Abstract:

Provided are a cell selection and reselection method, and a terminal. The cell selection and reselection method comprises: acquiring beam measurement configuration information, the measurement configuration information comprising a pre-set number of beams measured by a terminal; according to the measurement configuration information, measuring the pre-set number of beams, and acquiring a measurement result of each beam; and according to the measurement result of each beam, when the terminal is in an idle state, selecting and reselecting the cell in which the terminal resides.
