Abstract:
A cell stimulation apparatus according to an embodiment comprises: an electrode unit in which electrode elements are installed; pMUT elements disposed above the electrode unit and spaced apart from each other, and generating ultrasonic waves due to applied voltages; and well elements installed between the electrode unit and the pMUT elements and forming cell chambers in conjunction with the electrode unit and the pMUT elements. Biomaterials are placed on the electrode elements, and the ultrasonic waves generated by the pMUT elements can be transmitted to the biomaterials to provide the biomaterials with ultrasonic stimulation.
