Abstract:
[Solution] A cell provided with: a cell container having a barrel part, a bottom wall that closes off one end part of the barrel part, and an opening edge continuous with the other end part of the barrel part; an electrode body accommodated in the barrel part; and a seal body secured to the opening edge so as to seal the opening of the opening edge. The seal body has a seal plate, and a gasket arranged on the peripheral edge part of the seal plate. The gasket has an inner-side ring part arranged on the electrode-body side of the peripheral edge part, an outer-side ring part arranged on the side of the peripheral edge part opposite the electrode body, and a side wall part that covers an end surface of the peripheral edge part. The seal plate and the gasket are integrally molded and thereby closely bonded to each other.
