Abstract:
Provided is a cellular phone, which has a smaller physical space required for arranging a reflector, compared with conventional cellular phones, and has a reduced SAR by ensuring a distance between an antenna and a passive element as a reflector. A passive element (22) is arranged on a cabinet of an upper case (2) in an overlap area where the upper case (2) and a lower case (3) overlap one over another in a closed state, and an antenna (31) is arranged on the second case. Thus, the thickness of the cellular phone in the closed state is suppressed, and a distance between the antenna (31) and the passive element (22) operating as a reflector is ensured.
