Abstract:
These cellulose acetate flakes are composed of cellulose acetate having a degree of acetyl substitution of 0.80-2.90, the average space velocity SV derived through a prescribed method being more than 1.0 h−1 to 120 h−1. This gold recovery method includes filling a cylindrical container with the cellulose acetate flakes to produce a filled column, and passing a gold-ion-containing liquid through the filled column to adsorb the gold ions to the cellulose acetate flakes.
