Abstract:
Disclosed is a cellulose derivative having good thermal plasticity, strength and elongation at break and is suitable for molding. Also disclosed is a resin composition. The cellulose derivative is produced by substituting at least some of hydrogen atoms in hydroxy groups contained in cellulose by a hydrocarbon group and an aliphatic oxycarbonyl group or an aromatic oxycarbonyl group.
