Abstract:
The present invention provides a cellulose ester resin composition characterized by containing a cellulose ester and at least one selected from the group consisting of terpene resins and aromatic petroleum resins. The cellulose ester may be cellulose acetate having a degree of acetylation of 2.1-3.0. This cellulose ester resin composition prevents bleeding (bleed-out) of structural components, decreases water absorptivity (hygroscopicity), and has excellent moldability (especially film-forming property), it being possible in particular to reduce frame failure of liquid crystal displays when this cellulose ester resin is used as a structural material of a polarizer protective film.
