Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of papermaking, particularly to a cellulose water resistant paper and a preparation method therefor. In the present invention, a cellulose paper is treated for 10 seconds to 72 hours by using a lye having a mass percentage concentration of 10% -35%, so as to regulate the fiber space morphology, such that the fibers can be mutually braided, locked, and hooked to form strong physical connections. Such physical strong interaction does not rely on the hydroxyl bonds between the fibers, and therefore is not affected by water molecule invasion. The water resistant paper prepared by the present invention does not lose its strength when the hydrogen bonds are broken in water, and can therefore work in a water environment and has good wet strength. Most importantly, the preparation method does not introduce other hydrophobic additives, is environmentally friendly, has good biocompatibility, lowers the limit on raw materials, substantially reduces the production cost, and improves the production efficiency. The present invention has excellent performance, wide application scenarios, and good commercial prospects.
