Abstract:
A centrifugal blower (1) comprising: a fan (30); a fan casing (50); a separation cylinder (70) having an air introduction plate (71) and a cylindrical part (72); an internal/external air box (10); and a filter (20). The filter has an air in-flow surface (21) from which air flows in and an air out-flow surface (22) from which air flows out. A portion of the air out-flow surface is covered by the air introduction plate, while a portion of the air in-flow surface is covered by structural bodies (17c, 17d, 18c, 144a, 154a). In the filter, a region where the filter overlaps with an air inlet in an axial direction is defined as an overlapping region (20A), and a region where the filter does not overlap with the air inlet in the axial direction is defined as a non-overlapping region (20B). In this case, the structural bodies are located on the side of the air in-flow surface of the filter such that the overlapping area in the axial direction of the overlapping region is larger than that of the non-overlapping region, at least in a two-layer mode.
