Abstract:
The present invention provides a centrifuge which enables sure sealing of a rotor chamber with a lid and which imposes little burden on a user. In this centrifuge, when the lower end of a hook catcher 30 abuts against a hook upper surface 11B as the hook catcher 30 comes down, the hook catcher 30 is capable of turning a hook 11 in the counterclockwise direction from a state shown in fig. 2 against a spring 12 even if a rotor 15 is fixed. As the hook catcher 30 comes further down to bring an engagement hole 30A to the height level of a hook apical end 11D, the hook apical end 11D passes through the engagement hole 30A. When the engagement of the hook apical end 11D with the engagement hole 30A is recognized, a locking motor is driven so as to cause a locking drive shaft 14A (rotor 15) to turn in the counterclockwise direction as shown in the figure. In this instance, as the hook 11 is turned, the hook catcher 30 gets pulled downward.
