Abstract:
An oligolactic acid ester having a specific chain length is produced and isolated as a single compound. It is a compound represented by the general formula (1) or a salt thereof: (1) wherein X represents hydrogen or a hydroxyl-protecting group; Y represents lower alkyl; and n is an integer of 2 to 19.
