Abstract:
Provided is a chair-type massage machine, whereby a reclining attitude which does not impart tiredness or a burden upon a user is implemented by making the height of a forepart of a seat part approximately the same as the height of the chair back. This chair-type massage machine (1) comprises: a seat part (2); a base frame (7) which supports the seat part (2) upon the floor surface; and a chair back part (3) which is installed on the rear part of the seat part (2), which may be reclined fore and aft with respect to the base frame (7), and which is disposed to support a user's back. A reclining mechanism (6) is disposed which, as the chair back part (3) reclines backwards, elevates the fore part of the seat part (2) upward with respect to the rear part thereof, and thereafter, operates the seat part (2) and the chair back part (3) in conjunction such that the fore part of the seat part (2) is lowered toward the pre-elevation location thereof.
