Abstract:
A chair (1) with a lining member (7) applied to a backrest and a seat plate (4), which are portions for contact with the body, wherein in order to provide improved sitting feel by imparting elasticity to such contact portions as the seat and backrest even if the lining member (7) has no elasticity, the chair has attached thereto raised potions (41) and elastic pieces (8), which allow deflection in the loading direction due to contact with the body, with the lining member (7) attached to the raised portion (41) and elastic piece (8).
