Abstract:
The present invention relates to a chamber-type tensile testing device designed to efficiently and stably test, in a high-pressure state, mechanical properties of a material such as a part used in a device for producing, transporting, or storing gas in a high-pressure state. The chamber-type tensile testing device for a tensile test in a high-pressure hydrogen environment according to the present invention comprises: an upper cylinder which includes an upper plate having a linear penetration hole formed to penetrate the center of each of the upper end and the lower end thereof, and a fastening device provided at a lower part thereof to fix an upper part of a specimen in a pin fastening method, and is installed in a shape extending through the penetration hole to move up or down by hydraulic pressure so as to perform a tensile test of the specimen; and a lower cylinder which has an insertion groove formed to have a predetermined depth from the upper end thereof, includes a fixing device for automatically fixing a lower part of the specimen to the bottom surface of the insertion groove, and in a state of having been installed vertically below the upper plate, moves up or down so as to fix or separate the specimen and close or open the insertion groove.
