Abstract:
Provided are a channel coding and decoding method and a related apparatus. The method comprises: a first communication apparatus determines a first channel coding mode according to a first parameter, the first parameter comprising one or more of an encoding parameter, a service category, the device type, an encoding feature, a modulation and coding strategy, and a transport block size; and the first communication apparatus performs channel coding on a sequence to be sent by using the first channel coding mode to obtain a coding sequence after the channel coding, and sends the coding sequence. According to the channel coding and decoding method, a suitable channel coding solution can be adaptively and flexibly selected, a scene with channel coding and decoding diversification and corresponding performance index requirements are met, and flexibility is provided for a protocol and a system.
