Abstract:
In order to generate a virtual waveform of a channel estimate outside a bandwidth with a better precision, while deterring any increase in circuit dimensions, upon conducting an interpolation of a channel estimate in an OFDM method, a conversion circuit (104) conducts a linear interpolation between channel estimates, from among first channel estimates estimated from reference signals, that correspond to reference signals arranged at both ends of a prescribed bandwidth, and estimates a second channel estimate that corresponds to a subcarrier outside the bandwidth. The conversion circuit (104) substitutes zero for data components of a first delayed profile that are delayed for a prescribed threshold time or more, said first delayed profile obtained by implementing an inverse FFT operation to a channel estimate that is the result of merging the first and second channel estimates. The conversion circuit (104) also extracts a channel estimate that corresponds to the subcarrier outside the bandwidth, from among third channel estimates obtained by implementing an FFT operation to a delayed profile obtained by the substitution.
