Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of wireless communications, and provides a CSI encoding method and apparatus and a CSI decoding method and apparatus. The encoding method comprises: a UE encodes a target CSI matrix in delay and angle domains on the basis of a first target CSI compression encoder to generate a compressed encoded value, the first target CSI compression encoder comprising N composite convolutional layers and one fully connected layer, each composite convolutional layer comprising a delay domain convolutional stride and an angle domain convolutional stride, the delay domain convolutional stride of a first composite convolutional layer being less than the angle domain convolutional stride of the first composite convolutional layer, and N being a positive integer. In the present application, the target CSI matrix has a strong correlation in the angle domain and a weak correlation in the delay domain, and therefore, by means of the first composite convolutional layer, more compression can be performed on a dimension of the angle domain having a strong correlation, and less compression can be performed on a dimension of the delay domain having a weak correlation, thereby not only improving the compression performance of the encoder, but also achieving reasonable compression encoding for the target CSI matrix.
