Abstract:
The present application provides a channel state information (CSI) measurement indication method and a communication apparatus. A network device indicates to a terminal device, via first indication information, frequency domain units in a downlink reference signal resource by which the terminal device obtains CSI; on the basis of the first indication information, the terminal device determines which frequency domain units in the downlink reference signal resource are used to obtain the CSI, and performs measurement on the basis of the frequency domain units and measures the obtained CSI on the frequency domain units. The network device may flexibly configure CSI measurement according to a system state to control acquisition of the CSI, so that the terminal device can obtain the CSI in a more targeted manner under different situations on the basis of the indication.
