Abstract:
Disclosed are a character string correction method for an OCR target character string, and a computing device performing the character string correction method. The character string correction method may comprise the steps of: identifying a target character string derived as an OCR result from an image document; determining a similarity between the target character string and a plurality of candidate character strings included in a candidate character string list; comparing the similarity with a threshold value; selecting a candidate character string having a similarity exceeding the threshold value; and replacing the target character string with the selected candidate character string.
