Abstract:
A charge control resin is provided that can rapidly increase charging, can produce excellent charging characteristics, and can be easily manufactured. The charge control resin contains a polymer as an active constituent that has a constitutional unit expressed by the chemical formula (1): (1) (wherein: R1 is each independently the same or different, and a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, a carboxy-containing group, a straight chain or branched alkyl group having carbon number of 1 to 18, or a straight chain or branched alkoxy group having carbon number of 1 to 18; R2 is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, a carboxy-containing group, a straight chain or branched alkyl group having carbon number of 1 to 18, or a straight chain or branched alkoxy group having carbon number of 1 to 18; g is a number of 1 to 3, h is a number of 1 to 3; and M is a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, a straight chain or branched alkyl group having carbon number of 1 to 18, an ammonium atom group, or a mixture thereof).
