Abstract:
This charge-transporting varnish, which includes: a charge-transporting substance; a dopant substance; metal oxide nanoparticles that are surface-treated with a silane coupling agent having a conductive functional group represented by, for example, formula (S1) below; and a solvent, provides a charge-transporting thin film with excellent transparency and electrical properties. (In the formula, R represents an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, A1 represents a single bond or an alkylene group having 1-10 carbon atoms, A2 represents a single bond or a divalent linking group other than the alkylene group, and A3 represents a monovalent organic group having a conductive functional group.)
