Abstract:
This charging apparatus suppresses deterioration of the intensity of radio waves or a magnetic field used by apparatuses to be charged with power, said apparatuses having wireless communication functions, and reduces influence to the radio waves or the magnetic field. In the charging apparatus, a position detecting unit (201) detects the position of a power receiving coil (251) which an apparatus to be charged with power (150) has, said apparatus to be charged with power being disposed on a charging table (101). A power transmitting coil (208) transmits power by being close to the power receiving coil (251). A coil moving mechanism (207) brings the power transmitting coil (208) close to the position of the power receiving coil (251), said position having been detected by means of the position detecting unit (201).
