Abstract:

A charging control device (15): calculates a learning instruction value of a charging parameter to be used in a learning phase that is an initial period of a charging control period of a secondary battery (11) on the basis of the temperature of the secondary battery; operates a charger (14) in the learning phase so as to control the charging parameter to conform to the learning instruction value; calculates a learning temperature-rise rate that is a temperature-rise rate of the secondary battery in the learning phase on the basis of the temperature of the secondary battery; calculates, prior to the start of a charging phase subsequent to the learning phase, a charging temperature-rise rate that is a temperature-rise rate of the secondary battery in the charging phase on the basis of a restrictive temperature of the secondary battery and the length of the charging phase; calculates a charging instruction value of a charging parameter from the starting timing until the ending timing of the charging phase on the basis of the learning instruction value, the learning temperature-rise rate, and the charging temperature-rise rate; and operates the charger in the charging phase so as to control the charging parameter to conform to the charging instruction value.
