Abstract:
The invention relates to a charging device (1) with which charging material containing bulky parts can be delivered incrementally from a shaft (2) through an outlet opening (11) in the lower region of a shaft wall (4) by means of a slide (13) into a melting vessel (31). Depending on the advancement force of the slide (13), an upper delimiting part (26) of the outlet opening (11) is raised when a blockage is imminent due to bulky parts.
