Abstract:

A method of charging for call service, comprises: blocking a request information transmitted from switching device accessed by pay-as-you-go calling user to service control point for triggering pay-as-you-go service, the called user information is ported in the request information; querying a number portability database based on the called user information, porting the queried called user route number into the request information and forwarding it to the service control point when the queried called user is off-net user; the service control point treating the called user as off-net user to charging for the calling user when the called user route number is ported in the request information, and treating the called user as on-net user to charging for the calling user when without any called user route number ported in the request information.
